Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and I strive to keep my fees transparent and accessible. Below, you’ll find details on session fees, payment options, insurance coverage, and important policies to ensure a smooth experience.
Office Hours & Availability
Tuesday – Friday
10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Appointments outside of regular hours can be accommodated upon request.
In Person Sessions
I meet with clients in my downtown Vancouver office:
Suite 610 – 1125 Howe Street
Vancouver, BC V6Z 2K8
Phone or Video Sessions
These options are available when in person sessions are not an option:
- Personal or family issues
- Injury or Illness
- Business travel or holiday


Session Fees & Length
Counselling Rates
$140.00 (+ GST) per 60 min. session.
Additional Fees – Reports, Forms, Letter Writing
There is no charge for requests that take 15 minutes or less to complete. For requests requiring more time, a fee of $70 per 30 minutes applies. If you have an urgent need, you may request to have paperwork completed during your scheduled counselling session, provided there is enough time remaining after addressing your concerns.

Payment Methods
Session Fees
Fees are due after each session and are payable by cash, credit card, or e-transfer.
Insurance and Benefit Plans
A receipt indicating my Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) registration number will be provided for submission to your provider so that you can be reimbursed.
Many benefit plans cover counselling sessions with a Registered Professional Counsellor. Please contact your insurance provider and verify your coverage before you arrange your first visit.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required. You will be charged the full fee for any appointment cancelled or rescheduled within this time frame. You can book, reschedule or cancel an appointment 24 hours a day by calling 604-809-7438 or by email at lyn@lynfirthcounselling.ca.
